The Fannie Pack is BACK, Dolls.
Hold the hot pink phone... did you just read that right?! The answer is YES, you definitely did.
The 90s has had a resurgence in the fashion world lately. Scrunchies, velvet everything, choker necklaces, bold shoulders & high-waisted jeans... but none of these trends is more iconic of this era than the Fannie Pack.
We first started seeing this throwback again on the runways...
& now Fashion It-Girls are rocking this style everywhere.
However, the new Fannie Packs are following a couple of new rules. Listen up.
- A new name. “Fannie Pack” just isn’t chic enough. They are now affectionately called “Belt Bags”
- A new way to wear. While wearing around your waist is still a fashion accessory DO, the new “belt bags” can also double as an updated crossbody bag.
A new fashion rule. Because more is definitely more. And, two is always better than one.
